Bachelor Parties Faq with Jaco Holiday Tours

Jaco Holiday Tours, we want to create the ultimate Bachelor Party experience for you and your friends. If you have a large group or you are only looking for a weekend boy, we can help you do that. Here are some of the most common for all those considering a bachelor party in Costa Rica matters:

Q: What is the best city in Costa Rica for a bachelor party?
Jaco Beach is certainly the party city of Costa Rica. In Jaco you will find beautiful women, beautiful beaches, exciting excursions, fishing charters, excellent restaurants and fun places to party.

Q: Do I need a passport?
Yes. Citizens of the United States, Canada, Great Britain and Europe are required to have a passport to enter Costa Rica. However, visas are not required.

Q: What should I bring with me?
Jaco is a relaxed seaside town and is not uncommon for tourists in shorts, tank tops and flip-flops for the whole trip. However, if you are planning a night or two in San Jose vacation, we recommend a few suits.

Q: Do I have to change money at the airport?
You can, but not recommended. US dollars are accepted almost everywhere in Costa Rica. You can get a better exchange rate in a local bank with passport.

Q: Should we tip them?
Yes. Most VIP guides and hosts rely on advice and will work harder if they know they are being served. However, note the bars and restaurants add a 10% tip on your bill automatically. It is totally up to you whether or not to shoot anything more.

Q: How far is Jaco Airport, and how do we get there?
A: Jaco is about an hour’s drive from San Jose Airport. We offer transportation services to Jaco and back (or anywhere else in Costa Rica).

Q: I do not speak Spanish. Is it a problem?
No, but speaking a little Spanish can be an advantage. Otherwise, it is useless. Many local and almost all those who work in the services sector are bilingual and speak English. Only we reserve for your group activities with companies that know they have a staff that speaks English.

Q: Does my cell phone work in Costa Rica?
No, your cell phone does not work, but you can find free Wi-Fi at almost anywhere you go in Costa Rica. If you have an unlocked phone, you can buy a local SIM for Pay-as-you go. We recommend using Kolbi or Movistar. There are also several applications (WhatsApp, Viber, Skype, Google Voice) that you can download to make free calls and texts in the US or local phone numbers in Costa Rica. If you have a smartphone, you will not have problems getting online, checking emails, making calls and text.

If you have any further questions, you can call or contact us. We are happy to answer all your questions to make sure you have the best possible Bachelor of Costa Rica vacation with us!
