Jaco Beach
The center of the Central Pacific, just over an hour from San José. Jaco has banks, supermarkets, clinics, pharmacies, restaurants and even a movie theater, plus the widest choice of hotels and vacation rentals, many right on the beach. Its services and central location make it the natural base for exploring the region.
Playa Hermosa
Just a couple of miles south of Jaco, Hermosa has a rustic charm and is a favorite of serious surfers, with waves considered among the best in Central America year-round.
